Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Aspen returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd won her next fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO second round victory. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant way. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended the streak of winning. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by majority verdict.
